It really makes you question the intelligence of the people you work for and with when you see things like this posted.
Reminds me of something my mom always says: 'Common sense is not so common.'
I believe she got that from hearing one of her elementary school teachers say it all the time. I wonder what my students are picking up from me...assuming anyone is listening, of course.
Sometimes when it's a particularly close-mouthed group (like today) I get this surreal feeling like I'm on the holodeck of the Starship Enterprise and they're all just computer simulations of students, programmed to participate as little as possible in order to challenge me. I was this close to saying, "Computer, end program!" about halfway through today's class. Maybe I should have. At least it would have gotten their attention!
