Now don't get me wrong, I love firefighters (what woman doesn't?) and am grateful for what they do. In fact, I hope every firefighter has a very safe and uneventful fourth of July!
What's strange is that if you look at the men in Greenpoint, it's hard to picture them arranging these ultra-masculine-fantasy-bodybuilder collectibles on their mantles.
I guess I've always assumed that guys who are really into weightlifting and health supplements (patrons of this store) would be down-to-earth, sports-watching, red-meat-eating men. They just don't seem like the type that would go for figurines of muscly males and their imaginary friends.
But I guess you never can tell...

I don't know...I think guys who go to stores like that must be deeply insecure, actually...I could totally see them owning figurines to remind them of how awesome they are...oh, and mirrors...lots and lots of mirrors...
