Happy Chinese Valentine's New Year Day!

I've put together a little photo montage for Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year. Both holidays are traditionally "red"-themed, which is cool. If you are a kid growing up with Chinese traditions, you get a red envelope with money in it on New Year's Day. Wouldn't that make a nice Valentine? ;)

This door I spotted in Chinatown caught my eye because of the bright orange--and then I noticed the heart. Nice!

This is on the sidewalk on my walk to the subway. I'm trying to think of a superstitious rhyme for it. "Step on a heart, you're the next to fart" "Step on a heart, your life will fall apart" "Step on a heart, good luck will start" <---that's the one!

Hey, speaking of rhymes, I'm writing song lyrics now. I have no idea whether they will work with the music my friend is writing, but I'm having a lot of fun. So far my favorite one that I've written is titled "A Whore With More". Sorry, Mom!
