Shapers

New music!

OK, I know I bitched about the new Black Eyed Peas album a couple of posts ago, but in general I really don't like reading or writing music reviews--I'd rather just listen to the music, make up my own mind, and let everyone else do the same. That was really just venting, anyway. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who enjoyed THE E.N.D., and good for them, I say.

However, I am happy to share with you three fresh tracks from a new album that I love by Shapers: "Little, Big."I've been told it's named after the book Little, Big by John Crowley, and that I should read it.

So many books, so little time!

I don't write or discuss music often enough to know what genre it is or make insightful comparisons, so I'll just say this:

1. Shapers have a unique sound ('Hot Gravy Available' is actually my favorite track on the CD, so I'm psyched they provided that one as one of the free listens)
2. I like it a lot.
3. You should give it a shot, and if you like it too, go buy their album in November! You'll be supporting hardworking, talented musicians and you'll get to tell all your friends about this cool new band you discovered.

Enjoy!
