The weather has been unbelievably beautiful lately, and I'm taking full advantage by walking around aimlessly for hours on end, just storing up memories of perfect days for when winter comes.
Yesterday I walked a lot in Manhattan. Pros: very interesting people-watching, long blocks. Cons: tourists. This random woman actually asked me if I knew where she could find a bathroom and we were standing directly across the street from a Starbucks.
Today I kept it local and walked around the hood. Pros: less crowded, less...Manhattan-y. Cons: busted up narrow sidewalks in a lot of places, and couldn't stop thinking about how badly I want a bicycle.
This is one of the best views in the neighborhood, in my opinion. Very cool intersection. Sometimes the best part about Manhattan is seeing it from a distance!

I love walking around New York City too. You might want to try Greenwich Village next time. :)
